In 2001, some youth specialists from the USA felt called to work with young people in a local church in Bicester. They quickly realised the need was greater than one church could meet. So in 2005 they formed Reign Ministries UK, a charitable trust registered in England & Wales. The charity steadily grew as staff was added, and new programmes were developed to better achieve the goals.
From the beginning the team wanted to help the church across the UK to rediscover Jesus’ model of discipleship. This has led us to focus on training young leaders, primarily through a Youth Ministry Degree. Reign Ministries is currently working towards this vision.
“In the next ten years we will train 200 Disciple-making Youth Ministers and 20 Movement Leaders, who will make a difference in the church and in the lives of young people.”
We are intentionally putting our best time and resources into a few leaders. Who we pray will spark a movement among young people.

We’ve been working hard to develop a suite of Resources to provide youth ministers with tools to better connect with and disciple their young people. We designed Stir Pack to engage young people in faith conversations where they have never thought about God before. The Discipleship Pack is intended as a guide to help a young person grow in their faith journey, with plenty of questions and ideas to help the youth worker.
Reign Ministries believes that:
“We will see a youth ministry that is based on Jesus’ timeless methods bursting out and streaming everywhere. We want to see these small streams of new life come together to create a vast rush of fruitful and effective youth ministry that begins to sweep across the nation.”
