We had a great time at our March Conference, held at the beautiful Luckley Holidays in the Cotswolds! Our trainees and staff were joined by a number of visitors, which always are a joy! A group of students from Cincinnati Christian University, led by Kris Merrill (mum to our own Alysen Merrill!), served us throughout the week by assisting with catering (including making an American pancake breakfast!), leading worship, and even did some building work for Luckley Holidays! We were also joined by a handful of ‘tasters’ who’d come to find out a bit more about us.
Our theme for this conference was Ephesians. We start and finish each day all together for a time of worship, prayer and sharing. Each morning, a CCU student shared from Ephesians, and a handful of team members shared about the young people they’re discipling. Then, off to a packed day of lectures before we’d come back together in the evening!
