June Conference

We just finished our last conference for this academic year and if you can tell by the photos the sunshine and the world cup left us in a festive spirit. The theme of the week was about finishing well and as believers and youth ministers we are more inspired and equipped to do that now.

These are the subjects that were covered in the facilitation’s:

Missional Leaders/Year 1 Year 2 Year 3

Missional Movements and how they changed the world Holy Spirit: The role of the Holy Spirit in the life of the church and in our lives as believers. Paul’s Writings: The guidance that Paul gave Timothy and Titus on how to lead and unite the church.

Preaching: Each person gave and received feedback on a 15 minute talk. Intro to the OT: The plan that God has for this world and how it was revealed and demonstrated through the Old Testament. General Epistles and Revelation: The way that we are to live and how the last part of the bible shapes that picture.  Preaching 2: Each student gave a sermon and was given feedback by the group.

Our next conference is in September at the Pioneer Centre near Kidderminster.  We have some new students joining us, and we are excited for them to begin!  Please pray for those students as they prepare to join us.
