We just wanted to share that this past week the ICY-UK leadership team gathered together for 24 hours in Bicester. It was really exciting to see how God is building a real strength into the team. At about 10 pm this past Tuesday, we were reminded again that the following vision statement is something that still intensely motivates us as a team: to raise up a generation of disciple-makers who model Christ’s heart for young people in the church and world.
We spent time praying about the people who will be joining us in March and for the students and churches that will be new to the programme in September. My prayer coming into the time was that God would unite us around the vision and excite us about what He is going to do. I believe that happened!
