About Me
Jeff has a passion for the local church and God’s heart for discipleship. He began his formal ministry working with students at Cornerstone University, Judson University, and The Moody Bible Institute. From there God led him to develop and grow a small group ministry and serve on the pastoral staff at Harvest Bible Chapel in West Olive, MI for five years. God has converged his love for students and the church in this new phase of ministry with Reign in the UK.
Jeff, and his wife Christie, will join the Caton’s and the current UK team for the purpose of furthering the ministry with students in Bicester, England as well as begin planting churches to continue the discipleship process into adulthood. Jeff is gifted in administration, leadership, and teaching. He holds a BA in Business Administration from Cornerstone University and a MA in Educational Ministry from Wheaton College Graduate School.
Jeff & Christie have three kids. Misty (8) is in 3rd grade and loves reading and crafts. Aiden (6) is in 1st grade and loves most sports and video games. Kaci (almost 2) is cute and very adventurous. Jeff loves to read, spend time outdoors, play games with friends, and drink good coffee. He is passionate about applying the gospel of Jesus Christ to everyday life and believe whole heartedly that God desires us to live out our faith within community – that is the church.
My Personality
- I Like: most sports, biking and running, reading (with a cup of Starbuck at my side), conversation with my friends, and spending time with my wife and kids.
- I Love: Jesus, His church, and dreaming new visions for gospel ministry.
- I’m Addicted To: good coffee – there is nothing good to the last drop in cheap coffee! I’m also addicted to my wife. I can’t even go to the grocery store without calling her.
- People Say: I have a great, all-American family and that my kids our cute. I have to agree.
